Sadly the ash cloud cancelled my flight to the Chicago show this year. The airport was closed 15 minutes before my flight was due to depart. In hind sight this was a blessing in disguise as some British makers who had travelled the day before were delayed by one week on their return home.
After waiting 2 years to go I will have to wait another year to try again.
On the up side I'm planning a trip to Soest in Germany in May, surely nothing can stop a ferry!
